The Depot Theatre is a small not-for-profit organization with a big job—providing a year-round home in the Hudson Valley for the performing arts. For more than 25 years, our stage has welcomed accomplished actors, musicians, dancers, and film directors as well as wide-eyed kids just beginning to test their talents. To do all this—and more—we need your help. This holiday season, please consider supporting the Depot Theatre.

Gifts

Make a tax-deductible donation. Your gift will not only help us keep the lights on, it will help us keep our stage set, the actors in costume and the creativity humming. It is with donations from individuals like you that the show goes on, night after night. Want to double the reach of your donation? Many companies offer matching gift programs. Contact your employer’s human resources office and request a matching gift form. Complete the form and send it along with your contribution to the Depot. We’ll take it from there. It’s a simple, painless way to double the impact of your gift. If you are affiliated with a foundation whose mission aligns with ours, we would be glad to talk with you.

Here's another option: Gifts of stock, especially long-term appreciated stock, can benefit both the donor and the Depot. Donating long-term appreciated securities directly to the Depot, which is set up to accept such donations, is one of the best and easiest ways to give more. Please check with your tax advisor to find out what type of gift is best for your situation.

Sponsorships

Support the general operating costs of the Depot by becoming a sponsor. In helping to ensure the Depot’s future, you will enrich the cultural experience of the Hudson Valley and, as a sponsor, present your brand or business to the more than 5,000 people from throughout the region who visit the Depot annually. You will increase your exposure and create goodwill in the process. We offer a range of sponsorship levels, each of which includes recognition in our show programs and on our website.

Name a seat

Make a naming gift to the Depot Theatre and we’ll engrave your name—or the name of a group, organization or loved one you’d like to honor—on a plaque set permanently in the armrest of one of the theater’s 67 new seats. Naming gifts cost $500 and are fully tax-deductible. 

Program

If you'd like to introduce your business to more potential customers and support the Depot in the process, consider buying an advertisement in our program. Every audience member gets a program; that's a lot of introductions. For information about advertising with the Depot, email House Manager Julie Heckert.
